François Soto

François has nearly two decades of experience in quantitative investment management. He began his career as a financial analyst at CTI Capital and later served as a quantitative strategist at Variant Perception and lead portfolio manager at Inovestor.

In 2020, he founded Factor-Based Asset Management, where he serves as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing portfolio management, research, risk, and compliance. He holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and is a CFA, FRM, and CIM charterholder.
